ARRAY COLLECTIVE (IRL)

Raise a fist and get involved with Array – demanding your rights never felt so fun

Turner Prize winning Array Collective has been invited to make something new together with Lostfarmers due to their special socially engaged approach that uses humour as an artistic and activistic tool in creating community-driven works that demand change.

They are a collective of artists who have joined together to create collaborative actions in response to the sociopolitical issues affecting the north of Ireland. The collective was formed in 2016 through the rising anger and momentum of local human rights movements using humor and DIY methods, blending performance, protest, ancient mythology, photography, video, and installation.

Throughout the three-day festival, Array Collective will involve you through various forms of creativity, connection, and collaboration creating a new performative work in and around the shore at Out of Town on Sjællands Odde that will no doubt show a ranty, funny, shambolic celebration for a better future and just society.

Join the fun and support their art-activist approach calling for attention to a wider demand for rights.

Array Collective is a group of eleven based in Belfast who regularly collaborate with other creatives and organizations, merging artistic expression, direct action, and public interventions Over the last years, Array has fostered relationships with The Tate (GB), The Herbert Gallery (Coventry), Coventry City of Culture, Jerwood Arts (London), Frieze Art Fair (London), IMMA (Dublin), PS2, NCAD (Dublin) & Ruangrupa Collective (Jakarta, Indonesia) and shortlisted to represent Ireland at Venice in 2024. Array Collective won the Turner Prize in 2021.

Array Collective at Lost Farm Festival is supported by the New Carlsberg Foundation.
