Using her acrobatic voice and entire body to transmit emotional complexity, American vocalist and performer Felicia Chen AKA Dis Fig refines her vast pool of influences through a cathartic distillate that oozes between vulnerable beauty and retching chaos.

Joined by Nihiloxica’s Spooky-J on drums, she will at Lost Farm Festival present a live show developed during her 2024 CTM x Goethe-Institut x Somerset House Studios Residency. Using her impressively expressive voice as her most vital instrument, Dis Fig communicates a profound sense of emotional resonance, transforming sonic and ritual elements into something uniquely her own.

Resisting simple categorization, Dis Fig's sound defines the music industry's conventions, incorporating synthetic brass sections, flutes, and piles of quiet moments that either shatter or balance her landscape of raw intensity. 

Dis Fig cut her teeth operating in New York City's scrappy DIY and experimental club scenes. Over the years she has collaborated among others with Chinese multi-disciplinary artist Tianzhuo Chen, veteran British producer Kevin Martin aka the Bug, and acclaimed post-metal operators The Body. In 2024 she ended on the cover of The Wire Magazine.
