NOMADIC SHEPHERD SCHOOL (LISE HOVESEN) (DK)
Explore the land of Out of Town and find your own path to where the Norns are weaving.
NORN: The power that expresses itself through the human condition.
You'll hear the shepherd's call and follow a performance in the landscape, where smoke and wild herbs are burned. To enter the enclosure where the sheep are held, you'll feel the earth and become present in the landscape.
NORN: A sensory interactive performance
Go through the portal into a timeless landscape
Where the shepherd shows the way
Into the yurt
With the scent of heather and juniper
To the meeting with the three Norns
In Norse and Greek mythology, there were the three goddesses of fate
Who spins, measures, and cuts, the thread of human life
Throughout history and in every village, there have been shepherds, witches, wise women, medicine women,
And they are still there
A cultural tradition that is both past and future
One by one you are invited to enter the Nomadic Shephard School yurt with an open heart and encounter the 3 women, who sit and spin the wool from the sheep. They invite you to lay down on the sheepskins, where you can close your eyes and receive soft touch, massage, and healing, or seek guidance. You can take a piece of thread with you home.
